“Introspection” is a surreal painting made in 2025.

“Introspection” is a visual meditation on the essence of human existence and identity. Suspended between dream and wakefulness, it presents a world full of symbols, reflections, and subtle references to the inner journey of the human being — one without a clear beginning or end.
“Introspection” is a story of diving into oneself — into silence, into questions without ready answers, into the ambiguous spaces of our own consciousness. The image touches upon a deep, inner need to understand who we truly are and what shapes us beyond the surface of everyday roles, narratives, and beliefs.
Rendered in a dreamlike, symbolic aesthetic of magical realism, the work becomes a reflection on life as an endless journey inward. Over time, we discover that we operate under the influence of many unconscious programs — cultural, emotional, social. We identify with the past, fears of the future, and with the “self” that is, in fact, an illusion.
But beneath all of this lies something real — a deep, calm presence. Our true self — the silent observer, unmoved, existing only in the now, like a still surface of water undisturbed by ripples.

At the center of the image, however, is not only the individual. “Introspection” is also a reflection on the idea that, in the search for ourselves, we also discover others — and their worlds. Our personal paths intersect, intertwine, and influence one another. In seeking ourselves, we find another person — and vice versa. In this mutuality, something greater than individual understanding is born — a sense of shared existence.

The symbolic elements of the piece — layered space, the illusion of a dream within a dream, subtle light and details — guide the viewer through emotional and spiritual depths. This is a work that does not merely decorate but deeply moves.
